What is DPA?
DPA stands for Digital Product Assessment.
We focus on reviewing Digital Products with the goal of helping Licensees produce a digital product/digital tie-in that is a quality touchpoint for Marvel fans.
What does DPA review?
App Concept/UX/Icon: Marvel branded apps, apps that have Marvel alongside other products or experiences, Marvel IP-only app icons, or app copy/captions/creative.
Goods/Web/E-Blast/Non-Social AR: Digital goods, watch faces, wallpapers, trading cards, stickers, badges, themes/skins, invitations, websites, landing pages, URLs, web banners, e-blasts, e-catalogs, customer-facing copy, and chat bots.
Quiz/Game/Activity: AR or Non-AR quizzes, games, activities.
Social Media AR Filter/Sticker: AR filters, stickers, or goods intended for social media platforms.
Social Media AR Interactive/Game: AR interactive experience, game, activity, or quiz intended for social media platforms.

- Budgets
- Videos, Trailers
- Non-AR/VR Social Media Posts/filters, any Social Media Copy, any Social Media Influencer Campaigns
- Press Releases
- Physical Consumer Products or Physical Product Imagery/Descriptions
- DPA reviews any Digital Tie-Ins for Physical Consumer Products
- Advertisements, Marketing, Creative for Physical Consumer Product Tie-Ins
- Digital Advertisements for Digital and/or Physical Consumer Products, such as Paid Banner/Video Ads on 3rd Party Channels
Where do I submit to DPA?
As of January 10, 2024, all Digital Product Assessment assets will need to be directly submitted through the A.S.G.A.R.D. portal at https://asgard.marvel.com.

What is DPA’s turnaround time?
DPA's standard turnaround time is 10 business days. Please note, approval is not guaranteed by the end of this period and additional information or revisions may be needed.
DPA approved my submission. Now what?
Your assets are ready to go live! The new DPA review process has been streamlined so that ASGARD is the only portal you need to submit to for final DPA and Brand Assurance approval.
